SkyBride was born from one woman’s destination wedding planning experience in Manzanillo, Mexico.  Ashley Wali was living in Mexico and planning her nearby nuptials, but experiencing much of the frustration that a bride thousands of miles away might have in planning their own destination weddings.

Throughout the process, she realized that there are tons of gorgeous, unknown locales perfect for weddings, and world-class vendors readily available – if you know how to find them.  The difficult part is that many of these places are not in the major destination wedding cities, making them unattainable for wedding planners and brides with limited knowledge of the area.

Knowing that other couples would want the unforgettable, sky’s-the-limit experience that she had, Ashley kept detailed reviews of every venue she visited.  It bloomed into SkyBride, a curated collection of the world’s best venues for destination weddings.
