Accommodation

Rooms are a wee bit small at the St. Regis, but well-appointed and comfortable. Bathrooms are all marble, and the showers are enormous. Suites come with a personal butler, available to bring coffee, tea, or hot chocolate in the morning, as well as running errands for you and providing laundry and pressing services. The views at the St. Regis vary greatly depending on what part of the hotel you are in, so be sure you know what you\'re getting when you book.

Scenery

The St. Regis is set back from the beach, and from the hotel, you look onto the golf course before you see the water. The ocean is visible from the higher floors, including the dining rooms, lobby bar, and other public spaces. The grounds are immaculately kept, but you\'re not getting the Southern California beach experience that you might expect.

Food

Oh the food! Breakfast is a buffet, but Sunday is really the day to hit up Motif, one of the hotel restaurants. Call ahead for reservations, and come hungry. You\'ll find everything from fresh fish and salads to mini hamburgers and a pancake bar. It\'s likely the only meal you\'ll eat that day, and the quality is incredible, given how much variety they serve.

Service

From mastering a difficult last name to allowing you to order off menu, the staff at the St. Regis really do focus on you. Destination weddings are a huge part of the St. Regis Monarch Beach, and they know how to help you stay organized, realize your vision, and have an unforgettable day.
